Homeschool

We decided to homeschool Dylan for kindergarten and I was planning to start after we moved. He is one of those kids that really craves structure and has been really testy lately so I decided to start early. I can't believe how much his attitude has changed this week! He loves working with me and we've gone on a couple really fun "field trips." Yesterday we went to Lake Mayer and got to see ducks, geese, turtles, squirrels, cranes, and lots of fun stuff. Today we went to storytime at Oatland Island and got to see tons of cool stuff. We saw lizards, snakes, turtles, a black bear, pigs, bunnies, sheep, cows, goats, a donkey, and lots of other cool stuff. We've been learning about our 5 senses and I keep asking the kids what senses they are using and what they are learning with them. Today Dylan said "Mom, I am using my senses and I smell poop." I think that means he had a great day.
